Lynnhaven UMC
PALM SUNDAY
Our Palm Sunday worship service will take place on March 24th at 10am.
We will have a children's palm-waving processional at the beginning of the service.
HOLY THURSDAY
On Thursday, March 28th, we will have a Maundy Thursday dinner and worship service.
Dinner will begin at 5:30PM in the Social Hall, followed by a Communion Service in the Sanctuary at 6:30PM. A nursery will be provided.
GOOD FRIDAY
On Friday, March 29th, we will have self-guided stations of the cross from 5PM-7PM.
36 HOURS OF PRAYER
From 6:00PM on Friday, March 29th, through 6:00AM on Sunday, March 31st.
We ask that you sign-up for a 30 minute time slot to pray for our Easter services and our church. We want to be in constant prayer during this 36 hour period leading up to Easter.
Sign ups are available in the Welcome Center.
SUNRISE SERVICE
On Sunday, March 31st at 6:30AM, we will host an Easter Sunrise Service at the oceanfront.
The service will take place on the beach in front of the Wyndham Virginia Beach Oceanfront Hotel, between 56th and 57th streets.
All who attend the service may enjoy free parking at the Wyndham for the duration of the service.
EASTER SERVICES
We will have two Easter services on Sunday, March 31st.
They will take place at 9AM and 11AM in our sanctuary.
