Small Groups

Grow closer to God. And others.

We believe that the best way to grow in your relationship with God and make new friends is to join a group.

Meeting Details:  Sunday 10:05 – 10:50 a.m.

Starting September 15, 2019

Facilitators:  Susan and Bill Cofer

Where:   Discovery Classroom – Room 221a

Study Focus:  What does it mean to be a “living church?” Paul describes the nature of the living church in the book of epistle written while he was in a Roman prison.  Under Christ’s control, the church is a living body, a family, a dwelling place.  In Ephesians we also see the church described as a mystery, a temple, a bride and a soldier. Join us upstairs in the Discovery classroom as we explore the pages of Ephesians, written not only to the church at Ephesus but to all believers.

Act Like Men

Meeting Details:  Sunday 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Facilitators:  Brian Fierro and Matt Foster

Where:   LUMC Room - TBA

Study Focus: Men Matter. In many ways, our culture paints an unsavory and unseemly picture of manhood. The standard for how a man acts and conducts himself continues to be lowered. While some might see men's roles as insignificant, God tells a different story. God says that men matter, and He's appointed them to lead. Men fulfilling this role is vital to the health of our homes, churches, and society. Unfortunately, too many men follow the way of the world, instead of embracing the call of God. Instead of stepping up to their responsibility, they are stepping back.

This will be a part of our choir practice and is for all those that desire to be part of the choir. No experience needed. No auditions required. Please join us.
