A SPACE TO TALK ABOUT RACE
Sunday, May 2nd (7:00 pm) on Zoom
Are you wrestling with events over the last year in our world that have highlighted challenges that people of color face? Are you unsure of what this means and what to do as a follower of Jesus?
We are creating a space to wrestle through this together. On Sunday, May 2nd at 7, we will be creating a space to talk about race.
We will not have the answers, but will wrestle together with questions like:
What does scripture say about race and injustice?
How do you think Jesus feels about recent events and ongoing injustice and inequity?
What do you think Jesus would do in these situations?
How should we approach racial issues as followers of Jesus?
We encourage you to come and listen to each other and share with each other, if you feel so led.
The goal of the night for us as listeners is to seek to understand - much more so than seeking to be understood - and will be grounded in love for each other.
