Mission
As a Table Leader, you are the primary connection point for the girls at your table each week. Through consistent relationships, you will serve as a spiritual mentor—someone they can trust, learn from, and turn to for encouragement and guidance. You will help create a welcoming environment where girls feel known, valued, and challenged to grow in their relationship with Christ. At times, this may include providing loving correction and helping maintain a positive learning environment.
Expectations

Be a consistent weekly presence* during Bridges gatherings (substitutes are available when needed). Mark dates on your calendar: Bridges 2026-2027 Calendar

Arrive by 5:45 PM (15 minutes before the program begins).

Encourage and assist girls as they memorize key Scriptures and submit their progress through the Google Form.

Help girls locate and engage with Scripture during lessons.

Participate in activities and games to build relationships and foster connection.

Model enthusiasm for learning, reading, and spiritual growth.

Maintain a distraction-free environment by keeping phones put away during program time.
*High school volunteers may apply their service hours toward their school's community service or volunteer hour requirements.
Table Leader (Adults & 11th-12th Grade Leaders)
Assistant Leader (9th–10th Grade)
Mission
As an Assistant Leader, you will help younger girls feel welcomed, encouraged, and connected. By modeling your faith and building relationships, you will support your Table Leader while helping girls engage with Scripture, participate in activities, and grow in their understanding of God’s Word.
Expectations

Build positive relationships with the girls at your table.

Assist girls with memorizing key Scriptures.

Help girls locate Scripture passages during lessons.

Leader-in-Training (6th–8th Grade)
Mission
As a Leader-in-Training, you have the opportunity to serve as a positive Christian role model for younger girls. Your example can help them understand their identity in Christ and encourage them in their faith journey. You will also support the Bridges team by assisting with setup, cleanup, and various program activities.
Expectations

Arrive by 5:30 PM and plan to stay until approximately 7:45–8:00 PM.*

Be ready to serve with a willing, helpful attitude.

Assist with setup and cleanup tasks, including:

Setting up and putting away tables and chairs

Decorating tables with tablecloths and centerpieces

Preparing materials and supplies for activities, games, and crafts

Distributing and collecting Table Leader totes

Work cooperatively and complete assigned tasks with a positive attitude.

Participate enthusiastically in songs, games, and group activities.

Use your words to encourage others and help create a welcoming environment.

Demonstrate Christlike character through respect, kindness, and servant leadership.

Substitute Table Leader
Mission
As a Substitute Table Leader, you provide essential support by stepping in when a regular Table Leader is unavailable. Your willingness to serve helps ensure that every girl continues to experience consistent encouragement, guidance, and connection.
Expectations

Be available to serve as needed when contacted.

Fulfill all responsibilities of a Table Leader for the evening you are assigned

Arrive by 5:45 PM and be prepared to engage with and support the girls at your table.

Help maintain a welcoming, Christ-centered environment throughout the program.
